Things are moving pretty quickly for the recently announced Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series. It was announced as Porsche’s most powerful 911 to date, all of about a day before the GT2 RS reveal at E3 upstaged the claim. It turned up on display at last week’s 24 Hours of Le Mans. Now, just a week or so on down the road, we’re finding confirmation of 1:18 scale and 1:43 scale model versions from Spark.

Car brands sharing models ahead of launch with model car companies isn’t uncommon. We’ve seen it happen before, with that year’s Audi R18 racer being given away as a prize in the Audi Sport hospitality at Le Mans, and even leaked confirmation of design from a model car being snapped at its own factory in some far flung market. It’s all part of the car industry process we suppose, so we’re not reading too much into this model already being confirmed as available.

Interestingly, there is a bit of news to break here for Porschephiles. Thus far, the only cars we’ve seen in the released press photos or even in the example at Le Mans have been an orange/gold paint color. The car’s press release itself mentions (via ChoiceGear’s sister site P9xx.com) confirms Porsche will offer it in “a range of selected exterior colors”.

Just how many further colors will be offered on the real thing by Porsche remains to be seen, but if these early photos from Spark confirming their own 1:18 scale and 1:43 scale versions of the car are any guess, then expect more subtle white and grey versions with the same gold accent wheels to also join the offering.
