1970 Porsche 917K by Amalgam Collection (1:8 scale)

Amalgam Collection has painstakingly recreated the Porsche 917K in an 1:8 scale model. It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.

Description

A fine 1:8 large-scale collector’s model of the Porsche 917K as raced to victory in the 24 Hours of Daytona in January and February 1970 by Pedro Rodríguez, Leo Kinnunen and Brian Redman. It was the first race for the 917K which finished 1-2 in the now iconic Gulf livery for the John Wyer Automotive Engineering team.

This model has been hand-crafted utilising our own CAD data created by scanning an original car in every detail. The resulting prototype has undergone strict scrutiny by Porsche to ensure complete accuracy.

Upgrade display case options are available for this model, from the space-efficient rotating wall display through to display cases in both table top and floor-standing form. This model can also be enhanced by display case lighting to add function to your home or office interior. Please view the Tailor-Made section of the website for further details.
