Porsche had big plans for the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 – especially for the racetrack. But for this series a smaller scale was in order. Just 500 units were needed to receive authorization for Motorsport, but the idea of an exclusive series never came into question. It quickly became clear that the first Carrera among the 911s wasn’t just something for the pros. A total of 1,525 units were made in order to at least partially meet the enormous demand. Today, very few have been preserved in their original condition. This makes it that much better that the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 is back as a true-to-life 1:43 copy. Limited to 1,973 units. In Blood Orange. Black interior. Made of metal. Scale 1:43.
