Ford Chicanes Necktie. At Circuit de la Sarthe in 1990, two chicanes (small curves interrupting a long straight) were placed in the 6km Mulsanne straight in order to slow new turbo Le Mans Prototypes. As speeds were reaching as high as 400 km/h and resultant crashes becoming extraordinarily violent and deadly, the FIA decreed it would no longer sanction a circuit which had a straight longer than 2 km (1.2 mi).

With our track map ties, whether you can name every track shown or simply enjoy the abstract pattern, take pleasure in showing your love for motorsports even at the most elegant of affairs!
